Mount Stromlo and Stromlo Forest Park are favourites for many Canberrans. Here are a few reasons to head that way soon. Stromlo Forest Park is an easy ride if you live in the Woden Valley and Weston Creek. For those in the north, surprisingly even Civic and Belconnen are surprisingly distant.

Winding gravel roads
Good barriers keep cars out but allow easy access for bikes, pedestrians and horses.
No need to lift our bikes over the gate.
Catering for many interests
Horse riding is common and trails found through the Mount Stromlo reserve.
People with interesting friends
Permitted: Walk anywhere but riding on multi-use track (singletrack) and management trails (gravel and dirt roads).
Some walking trails only
The singletrack is generally well marked.
