Canberra dirt tracks: cross links add variety

A great dirt loop around Canberra: “Canberra Centenary Trail without the suburbs” is made up of the Bicentennial National Trail (BNT) and the Canberra Centenary Trail (CCT). The route avoids crossing the suburbs. New loop rides in the north and south follow cross links reviewed by CyclingGravel recently.

Interesting ride possibilities

Consider cutting across Canberra to loop back to the start. Two links (see maps below) show how this is possible mostly on dirt tracks. “Southern Canberra ridges” is most effective. For more about these links read the ride reviews.

Click on the interactive maps below and zoom in and pan around the routes. Crossing links can be downloaded from Komoot directly to the mobile app.
