Molonglo Valley explodes

Some areas of Canberra are growing fast and the Molonglo Valley is one of them. Critical points on the timeline are the completion of the John Gorton Drive Bridge and Molonglo group centre.

The development of the Molonglo Valley has only just started.

ACT population projections are based on an initial starting population of 411,667 people, which is the preliminary estimated resident population at 30 June 2017.

The Molonglo Valley is growing faster than any other district.

The planning for the Molonglo Valley started in 2004 and construction will be rapid in the next few years. That means that the Molonglo Valley will grow quickly and the population will consequently grow rapidly until 2040.
