The intention of canberra.bike was to create a shareable resource all about cycling in Canberra. We have made this official with Creative Commons. Here we explain what this means.

Creative Commons has been around for a long time. Traditional copy write of works is extremely restrictive and goes against the grain of the internet which sees culture as shared. We build on what others have done before us.

Canberra.bike now publishes all articles under Creative Commons — Attribution 4.0 International — CC BY 4.0.

You are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

We would like Canberra to become a better city for cycling than it is now. Understanding what cycling means for Canberra is the first step.
